How do I know my order has been received?
Once you click the “Submit” button in the shopping cart, you will automatically receive an email order acknowledgement. If you do not receive the order acknowledgement, your order has not been received. Please repeat the order process. If you still do not receive an acknowledgement, please contact the South Butt customer service desk at Lindsey@thesouthbutt.com.
How long before I receive my order?
Once your order is placed and processed, it will ship from our facility in St. Louis, MO within 7-10 business days. Depending on where you live, shipping can take from 1-5 days by UPS Ground delivery service. After the order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping notification with ship date, arrival date and tracking numbers for your convenience.
What forms of payment do you accept?
MasterCard, Visa and American Express. To pay by credit card, please submit your payment information by completing the credit card authorization form. The billing address is the address where the credit card statement is mailed, not necessarily the the same as the shipping address (where you want the goods shipped). The billing address must match the statement address for the credit card used for security purposes. Errors in the billing address will delay the shipping and delivery of your order. Payment is required before we can release inventory for shipping.
What is your return policy?
Online purchases from the South Butt may be returned within 15 days of purchase in unused, like new condition for a full refund. Apparel items must be unwashed and unworn with all original labels and tags attached to the item.
All damaged and shortage claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of delivery. If damaged upon arrival, you have the right to refuse the order. Purchases will be refunded only to the same credit card used on the purchase. A refund will be issued to the original credit card within 1-2 billing cycles.
All returns must have a copy of your original receipt, all shipping documentation and must be in new condition. All sales on closeout or special items are final. NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES on closeout items. SHIPPING FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE!
To prepare your return, please use the original packaging or a strong corrugated box. Clearly note the reason for return on the invoice: include a copy inside the package: pack and tape your package securely. Write your order number (found on the packing slip) on package and ship to the following address:

We will need your credit card number and expiration date, as we do not have access to this information from the South Butt website. Once this information is received a credit will be issued. Sorry for any inconvenience!
How do I know if I am ordering the correct sized apparel item?
All apparel items have sizing charts for your review. Returns made for sizing issues will incur return shipping fees and any additional shipping charges that may apply. Please take measurements prior to ordering apparel.
Can I ship to my home address?
You may ship to your home address, but you will be responsible for leaving packages without a signature. If you would like to have a signature, there will be an additional charge. If you are not going to be home to sign for release, please have sent to a location that can receive the delivery.
Can I ship outside the United States of America?
We only ship to the United States at this time.
What is your backorder policy?
If for any reason your item is not available, the shopping cart will notify you that the item is on backorder. The South Butt is constantly monitoring inventory levels and will do everything we can to keep items in stock. Unfortunately, sometimes items become unavailable from the manufacturers.
How safe is my personal information?
The South Butt takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the web site, their information is protected both online and offline. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information such as credit card number, that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry – SSL. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our users’ information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment in a locked facility.
